Consolation Round

Championship Round

Pool Play – Home team is determined by coin flip and uses 3rd base dugout.
Tournament Play – The higher seed will be home in the first round of Championship and Consolation play. In the semifinals and finals, a coin flip will determine home team.

Tie-breakers for Pool Placement
1. Head-to-Head
2. Fewest runs allowed in the pool
3. Most runs scored in the pool
4. Coin toss

Once a tie is broken and a team is selected using the tie-breaker system, the system starts over.

The top two teams in each pool advance to the Championship Round. The bottom two teams in each pool advance to the Consolation Round.

Bartlett Edge claims USA High School Challenge title 

MILLINGTON, Tenn. - For the second time in three years, the Bartlett Edge won the USA High School Challenge Monday at USA Stadium. They fell behind in both the semifinals and championship but emerged victorious in both. They defeated All Sports Team Supply (Collierville HS) 10-8 in the first game and the Tennessee Heat 5-3 in the final. Jon-Micheal Davis from Bartlett was named the Tournament MVP.

Sixteen top high school teams descend on Millington this weekend for the third annual USA High School Challenge 

MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Eight of the area's top high school teams and eight out-of-town teams, including six from out of state, will battle this weekend in the summer's most prestigious tournament at USA Stadium, the third annual USA High School Challenge.

Both of the previous champions are in the 2007 field - the defending champion Mississippi Stars and 2005 champ Bartlett Edge, who are also the current state champions in Tennessee.

Other local teams that qualified for the event include St. Benedict, Arlington, BancorpSouth (Germantown HS), Waste Solutions (CBHS), All Sports Team Supply (Collierville HS), Germantown Sports (Houston HS), and Edge Athletics (Bartlett HS JV).

Other participants in the event are the Tennessee Heat, Jackson Storm (USJ), Kirksville (Mo.), Marquette (Mo.), Eureka (Mo.), Southside (Mo.), and Mississippi Prospects.

Pool play begins at 9:30 a.m. Friday and continues through Saturday. Championship and Consolation bracket games will be played Sunday and Monday, with the championship game at 5:00 p.m. Monday. All games will be played at USA Stadium or Bolton High School.
