Congratulations! You have earned a trip to the 2004 High School Division World Series to be played in Millington, Tennessee.
Listed below you will find complete information and instructions regarding the 2004 High School Division World Series.
1. Teams will register on Thursday, July 22, with play beginning on Friday, July 23.
Important: Each Team Manager must call John Daigle at (901) 872-8326. Mr. Daigle will have to know your approximate time of arrival into Memphis, Tennessee, and will be able to answer any last minute questions pertaining to the tournament. Please use our list of recommended hotels on our home page for your accommodations. Hotel rooms in the area during this time are very difficult to get, so we have already blocked rooms in these hotels for your convenience. You just need to tell them that you are with the NABF tournament at USA Stadium to claim these rooms.

2. Age cut-off date for High School Division (17 & under) was changed from August first of the current year to January first of the current year, adding seven months age eligibility for high school players. Note: The NABF High School Division (17 & under) events in 2004 will be open to players born on or after January 1, 1986. Players born in 1985 will not be eligible.
3. Team Rosters and Eligibility Lists. The team manager must deliver the following to the World Series Tournament Director upon his arrival to Memphis:
a. Official Team Tournament Roster: Each team must submit three
copies of their official team roster (both sides of the roster form must be completed) to
the World Series Tournament Director
b. Eligibility List: The eligibility list of all players from your age
group league must be submitted to NABF Headquarters not less than 15 days prior to the
report date of this tournament
c. Birth certificates: Required for all players on the team
Note: All players and team personnel must register at the World Series site with proper identification , see Rule 6.08 (Please review all eligibility rules) Each team must present a team 8 by 10 picture clearly identifying players left to right, first row, second row, third row, etc.
4. Insurance. All teams participating in an NABF Tournament must carry $1,000,000 liability insurance policy. The team must have a copy of the policy with them in order to be eligible for play. Also, the NABF must be named as one of the insured on the policy which will cover public bodily injury and property damage liability per occurrence.

6. Team Pictures. You are required to have a team picture. Team pictures are to be enlarged to not less than 8 X 10. The picture should be three rows with all players, coaches, and manager identified from left to right (first row, second row, third row). This picture will be used in NABF publications and must be presented at team registration meeting.
7. State Flag. Teams may bring their state flag to the tournament with them to be displayed during games.
8. 2004 High School Division Pairings. Pairings made by NABF Headquarters prior to the tournament. (Modified Round Robin Format)
9. Deadlines: In order to complete the Program Book, all teams are required to provide to the World Series Director by July 16, 2004 the following information: Completed rosters, team pictures, any pertinent background information on your team.
** A Reminder that all players MUST display the NABF logo patch on the sleeve of their
uniform or on the front of their uniform. All uniforms must be in compliance
with NABF/MLB rules. Order size small patches directly from Carolina Emblem

It is very important that managers follow the instructions in this bulletin. See
attachment as per NABF rule 8.03 for World Series events. Please review all NABF
tournament rules provided in you NABF Rule Book well in advance of tourney.
