Congratulations! You have earned yourself a trip to the 2002 High School Division World Series to be played in Millington, Tennessee.
Listed below you will find complete information and instructions regarding the 2002 High School Division World Series.
1. Teams will register on Tuesday, July 23, with play beginning on Wednesday, July 24.
Important: Each Team Manager must call
John Daigle at (901) 872-8326. Mr. Daigle will have to know your
approximate time of arrival into Memphis, Tennessee, and will be able to answer any last
minute questions pertaining to the tournament. He will make hotel reservations for your
team members and fans at the time of your call at the designated hotel/motel. You may also
call Joe Platt at (901) 377-5266 (H) or (901) 377-3322 (W) if you are unable to reach Mr.
Daigle.
Reservations
must be made through Mr. Platt or Mr. Daigle.

2001 High School Division World Series Tournament Directors:
Pairing made via a draw at NABF Headquarters prior to World Series
2. Team Rosters and Eligibility Lists. The team manager must deliver the following to the World Series Tournament Director upon his arrival to Memphis:
a. Official Team Tournament Roster: Each team must submit three
copies of their official team roster (both sides of the roster form must be completed) to
the World Series Tournament Director
b. Eligibility List: The eligibility list of all players from your age
group league must be submitted to NABF Headquarters not less than 15 days prior to the
report date of this tournament
c. Birth certificates: Required for all players on the team
Note: All players and team personnel must register at the World Series site with proper identification , see Rule 6.08 (Please review all eligibility rules)
3. Insurance. All teams participating in an NABF Tournament must carry $1,000,000 liability insurance policy. The team must have a copy of the policy with them in order to be eligible for play. Also, the NABF must be named as one of the insured on the policy which will cover public bodily injury and property damage liability per occurrence.

5. Team Pictures. You are rquired to have a team picture. Team pictures are to be enlarged to not less than 8 X 10. The picture should be three rows with all players, coaches, and manager identified from left to right (first row, second row, third row). This picture will be used in NABF publications.
6. State Flag. Teams should bring their state flag to the tournament with them.
7. 2002 High School Division Pairings. Pairings made by NABF Headquarters prior to the tournament. (Modified Round Robin Format)
8. Deadlines: In order to complete the Program Book, all teams are required to provide to the World Series Director by July 15, 2002 the following information: Completed rosters, team pictures, any pertinent background information on your team.
** A Reminder that all players MUST display the NABF logo patch on the sleeve of their
uniform or on the front of their uniform. All uniforms must be in compliance
with NABF/MLB rules. Order size small patches directly from Carolina Emblem
